Timoshin Nikolay Viktorovich

Born on August 14, 1959, in the village of Zhidkoye, Znamensky District, Oryol Region.

In 1987, he graduated from the Law Faculty of Voronezh State University with a degree in jurisprudence.
From 1987 - Judge of the Znamensky District Court of the Oryol Region.
From 1989 - Judge of the Oryol Regional Court.
From 2001 - Member of the Presidium of the Oryol Regional Court.
From 1994 to 2004 - Chairman of the Qualification Collegium of Judges of the Oryol Region.
Since 2004 - Judge of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
Since October 1, 2007 - Chairman of the First Instance Panel of the Criminal Cases Collegium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
Since August 7, 2014 - Chairman of the First Panel of Judges of the Criminal Cases Collegium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
Since December 25, 2014, he has been a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

By Resolution No. 58-SF of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation dated March 4, 2026, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation – Chairman of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
